In early August 2006,  Mel was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his left front leg.  Mel underwent amputation surgery and chemotherapy and is doing extremely well.  We are hopefull that Mel  will stay with us for a long, healthy and happy life as our "gronk" dog.  Watch for updates on Mel's progress.

Mel was co-bred and is co-owned with Sharron Williams of Mylakhan
